The Kundalini Rising Yoga Festival will be held at the beautiful Well Being Conference Centerin Tazewell, Tennessee. The Mission of Well Being Foundation is to promote harmony with Nature, wellness of body and peace of mind. In support of this mission, we operate the Well Being Conference Centeron 160 acres in Tazewell, Tennessee. The property is nearly surrounded by 2.5 miles of the Powell River, which creates a sense of privacy and enhances the stillness and natural beauty of this rural site in the Cumberland Mountains.
The Well Being Conference Center is a non-profit, non-affiliated and non-denominational foundation. The cabins are quite comfortable but do not include phone service, TV, internet, stereo systems, etc. Guests are asked not to bring alcohol or pets or illicit drugs onto on the property and smoking is not allowed in any building (including decks and patios). In short, these facilities are intended to provide an opportunity to enjoy the simplicity and freshness of Nature, to steep yourself in the stillness here, and to enjoy honest-to-goodness, non-electronic recreation such as kayaking on the Powell River, hiking to the top of the hill to see the mountains roll off into the blue/green distance, watching deer graze, being stunned by the beauty of a woodland wildflower, or hearing the primeval sound of a Pileated Woodpecker.
Here's some of the many reasons we gather together at solstice:
Create peace within ourselves and reflect it out into the world
Heal with Kundalini Yoga and meditate together with our families
Set intention on what we want to create in our home and life's work
Develop the inner grace to see our projects through and renew the body
Cleanse, detoxify and ground into our mother earth on her longest day
Receive healing and give generously while we enjoy the outdoors consciously
Uplift and bring to our children a group vibration of love and unity
